On our way to Hurricane, the kids and I stopped in Parowan and headed up the canyon to hike to Hidden Haven Falls. After some difficulty finding the trailhead, we finally embarked on this short 1 1/2 mile hike to a waterfall. Not the most amazing hike we have been on, but it was nice enough. The waterfall was frozen over, which made the destination kind of fun. It would have been more fun if we had equipment to climb the falls like some of the people there were doing. Pretty cool.

Fort Lauderdale
I just got back from a wonderful week in Fort Lauderdale. Steve had a business trip there and, knowing that he would be in meetings the entire time, Sharon invited me to tag along. Her sister, Tammy, came as well.
We had so much fun!
We were able to go to the Fort Lauderdale Temple open house and we spent one day in the Everglades (birds, turtles, fish and tons of alligators!). We tried some different food (Cuban at Havana Harry's and a Clam Bake on the beach with Steve's company), and attempted to go shopping one night (not very successful... lucky for Cameron).
Mostly, we hung out at the beach where the weather was beautiful and the water was great.
It was such a fun week and spending time with these gals made it all the better!
